About mytropicaltimber.org platform

The site mytropicaltimber.org is published by the International Technical Association of Tropical Timber (ATIBT).

With the My Tropical Timber (MTT) website, ATIBT provides professionals and the general public with a wide range of institutional, technical, and commercial information (producers, processors, importers). Major issues related to tropical timber, such as promoting legality, sustainable forest management, and improving industrial processing methods, are addressed.

ATIBT has chosen to invite a large number of players in the sector to appear on this site, while highlighting those most committed to sustainable practices.

MTT will therefore be a platform dedicated to promoting sustainable development and responsible trade in the tropical forestry and timber industry. The MTT website is part of an ethical, sustainable and transparent approach aimed at preserving forests while supporting a responsible forestry economy.
