Founded in 1958, UNICONGO (Union Patronale et Interprofessionnelle du Congo) is an employers' association governed by the 1901 Law.

UNICONGO (Union Patronale et Interprofessionnelle du Congo)
Its members are grouped into 16 professional federations with a national vocation. Each federation has an office headed by a President, assisted by one or more Vice-Presidents.
The Union represents private sector companies in Congo and defends their interests before public and institutional authorities. With the aim of improving the business climate and contributing to the development of the Congolese economy, the Union informs, supports and advises these companies facing changes in an economy formerly dominated by the public sector, and today, strongly imbued with the context of globalization.
