À propos
SPIB (Syndicat des Producteurs Industriels du Bois)

The SPIB has 24 full members, who process and export 70% of the country’s total processed products, representing an equal proportion of industrial companies out of the 78 currently operational units.

The SPIB is a member of ATIBT and the UNEMAF, so it intervenes at the upper management level and is particularly well informed of new laws, decrees and orders issued by the government as well as all other orientations and information relating to the sector.

The SPIB maintains regular contact for discussion and information purposes with various international organisations (OAB - ITTO - FAO - World Bank - EU - AFD, etc.) and national structures (SODEFOR - OIPR - SEPBA, etc.). SPIB has several of its members that are OLB certified.

The SPIB is a major player in the implementation of various initiatives related to the improvement of forest governance and the restoration of Ivorian forest cover.
