CIPEM (Centro das indústrias produtoras e exportadoras de madeira do estado de Mato Grosso)
The Center for Wood-Producing and Exporting Industries of the State of Mato Grosso (CIPEM) is the union of eight Forestry-Based business unions, which aims to organize and strengthen the sector. Encourages productivity and conscious consumption of wood and its by-products in a sustainable way, in compliance with current legislation and in harmony with the environment.
Founded on July 2, 2004, CIPEM covers 100% of native wood producing municipalities in Mato Grosso and works to demystify the image of the forestry sector as the villain of forest deforestation. Forest management is of fundamental importance in keeping the forest standing. The sector has great relevance in the economic and social development of the State, through tax collections and job creation.
CIPEM is a private, non-profit association. We are proud to be the institution that represents the Forestry Sector in the State of Mato Grosso.
